The National Homeschool Football
Championship Series (NHFCS) is pleased to announce the player selected as the
National Player of the Week - Division Two for the first week of the 2013 Season!

National
Player of the Week - Division Two honors for the week of September 6th, 2013
goes to Senior Wide Receiver #20 Grant Sims of Families
Instructing Students Homeschool Hawks' (Brandon, FL). Sims lit up the defense
of the First Coast Christian Knights (Jacksonville, FL) with 7 receptions for
155 yards including pulling in a 45 yarder heading to a 5 Touchdown performance
and dominating 54-12 victory over the Knights. The highlight of the game, which
certainly helped Sims secure the MaxPreps Overall Player of the Game, was a 55
Punt Return for a Touchdown... giving him 6 Touchdown total for the game. The
victory was the Hawks second of the year and will most certainly position them
near the top of both the Big East Region & National Polls when they are
released by MaxPreps next week. Congratulations to Grant & the Hawks for a
great start to 2013!!
