The NHFCS is going to spotlight some of the top athletes, as well as the top teams. This gives us a greater appreciation for some of the individuals who may not otherwise see any recognition, if their local team is not currently among the top few.
We can't stress enough, just how important it is for team statisticians to post thorough and accurate player stats promptly, following each week's game. The failure to do so not only undermines the role of coaching by not providing positive motivation, but more importantly, it denies a committed athlete some of the opportunities to successfully present themselves to college recruiters. Those college offers are literally life-changing. Coaches must delegate media and statistical duties to dedicated volunteers who can give focused attention to prompt reporting.
